We are very excited that on June 25th 2024, we celebrate a momentous occasion in our community's history. Our new Mother and Child Centre, a beacon of hope and care, has welcomed its very first baby into the world. This joyous event marks the beginning of a new era in maternal and child healthcare for our community, promising brighter futures for countless families.
The journey to this day has been one of dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment by the local team as well as the financial support of the Joanne Foundation. From the initial planning stages to the construction and finally the opening of the centre, every step has been taken with the utmost care and consideration. The goal has always been to provide a safe, nurturing environment where mothers and their babies receive the highest standard of care.
We are thrilled to announce the first newborn delivered at our centre. The little baby girl and her mother, are both doing very well. The skilled hands of the new midwife, Miriam and the medical team ensured a smooth and safe delivery, reflecting the expertise and compassion that define our services.
Our Mother and Child Centre is equipped with the necessary facilities designed to support mothers and their babies through every stage of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. Some of the key features include:
