Sponsor a school's reading project

We work closely together in partnership with local people and organisations

At many rural communities in Thailand, children face significant challenges due to their socio-economic circumstances. Many of these children come from disadvantaged backgrounds, where poverty is a daily reality. They lack access to basic resources, and opportunities that could help them break free from this cycle of poverty are often out of reach. This is why we feel we need to help developing a quality reading program in their primary schools.

However, to make this project a success, we need the support of sponsors. Financial constraints often mean that we cannot provide enough books, resources, and proper training of the teachers..

You can help us bring in trained staff  to help the teachers to guide the children through their reading journey, ensuring they get the most out of the program.

By investing in this program, you are not just giving money—you are giving hope.

You are investing in the potential of each child, helping them to dream bigger and achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Ban Norng Lum Puk

Ban Norng Lum Puk School is located in a suburban community within Ban Phai District, Khon Kaen Province. The school serves children from pre-school through to grade 6, with most students coming from working-class families.

While Ban Phai is considered one of the more economically successful small districts in the region, this area faces significant social challenges, including labor migration, slums, and other related issues. These challenges have negatively impacted the children’s education, limiting their academic achievement.

Ban Norng Lum Puk primarily enrolls students whose families cannot afford more prestigious schools or who have failed entry exams for better-credited institutions. Many students also transfer to Ban Norng Lum Puk in the middle of their schooling, often struggling with learning difficulties.

The people who need you support:

The director of the school is Mrs. Ariya Chotisjlakul. There are 105 students, of which are currently 48 boys and 57 girls. Also there are 9 teachers who teach from preschool upto primary 6., including a teacher for a special needs class.

Ban Hua Saeng School

Ban Huay Saeng is a small village located 30 km from Kalasin city, in a province east of Khon Kaen. Khon Kaen is considered a major center of the upper northeast (Isaan) region of Thailand.

Like many rural villages in Isaan, Ban Huay Saeng's economy is primarily based on agriculture. The villagers' livelihoods depend on growing and selling sugar cane, cassava, and rice, crops whose market values fluctuate unpredictably from year to year. The director really wanted to make a change in the school for the benefit of the children and is now with all the teachers committed to start the program..

The people that will need your support

A school in the next village was closed and these children have moved to this school. The director of the school is Mr. Ekkwit Preemun. There are now 76 students and 6 teachers who teach from preschool upto primary 6.
